Our Approach:
Edible Kids' Gardens embraces the vision of the Australian Standards for playgrounds, which states:
"The primary aim of a playground should be to stimulate a child's imagination,
provide excitement and adventure in safe surroundings,
and allow scope for children to develop their own ideas of play."
(AS, 4685.1-2004).

We don’t believe in plonking play structures into a space - we create fun environments that are dynamic, ever-changing and enticing for children to explore.
Research demonstrates that natural play spaces and non-structured playgrounds promote socially inclusive and diverse, imaginative play better than structured conventional playgrounds. Non-hierarchical, nature-based play spaces lend lend themselves to fantasy play and healthy socialisation rather than competitiveness and bullying.
